TED’S BUTCHERBLOCK HOSTS NAPA VALLEY WINEMAKER, FRANK AUDESIRK, FOR IN-STORE WINE AND BBQ EVENT MONDAY, APRIL 17

Charleston, SC, April 06, 2006 – Fine wines and BBQ? It may not sound like the most logical combination, but Ted’s Butcherblock is throwing an event to make wine connoisseurs and foodies alike think otherwise. On Monday, April 17, Ted’s Butcherblock will be hosting a special event featuring fine wines and their signature “Mediterranean BBQ” at the neighborhood store at 334 East Bay Street in downtown Charleston. Renowned Napa Valley winemaker, Frank Audesirk of Audesirk Vineyards, will be visiting Ted’s and pouring some of his signature wines for the event.

Audesirk Vineyards in headquarterd in Texas, and owner Frank Audesirk was a special projects man for oil and gas before trying his hand at winemaking. The wines are unique in that they are not produced from a vineyard on the property, but crafted from fruit from a number of high end growers in the Napa Valley. Audesirk and his team then collaborate with some of the best winemakers in Napa to create premium wines that are both affordable and unique.
