Get Yourself A Localist Card!

Charleston’s local businesses want to thank you for your support.! We’ve joined forces with Lowcountry Local First to participate in the new Localist Card program, which brings exclusive savings and offerings at local shops, restaurants and service providers to customers who intentionally support local businesses.

How It Works

1. Buy a Card
   Purchase a $25 Localist Card here. Choose between a physical card or a digital card for your Apple or Google wallet. Presale orders will be fulfilled in mid-October, just in time for the program launch on November 1st, 2025. Card benefits last for 14 months!  Your card will expire December 31, 2026. Buy during presale to get the most out of your card!

2. Browse the Directory
   Check out the latest deals from participating businesses (including Ted’s Butcherblock!) in the Localist Card Directory, or look for "Localist Card honored here" stickers on storefronts around town.

3. Show Your Card, Get Perks
   Present your card at checkout (in-store only!) and unlock special offers.

4. Repeat & Share
   Shop local all year long, and encourage your friends and family to join the movement.

The Localist Card is designed to promote year-round local spending and help drive consistent support to small businesses throughout Charleston. Every time you use your card, you’ll be supporting local entrepreneurs, preserving the character of our region and building a more resilient local economy.
